Aaron's Sales And Lease Ownership innappropriate business practice Enid Oklahoma

I bought a washer and dryer from Aaron's and was pretty pleased with the process and the employees at the time so I wanted to get a TV rom them and had gotten behind about a week each month. My wife handles all the paying of the bills in my house so I never really spoke with any of the employees very often. I just happened to answer the phone yesterday when they called and told the collection person that my wife handled the bills and she wasn't in at the time. The collection person then said to me " You don't handle your business?" I was very mad and asked him what he meant by that then he said "All I know is I have a 52 inch DLP Big Screen out with no credit check" This guy went on disrespecting me so I hung up.

Today I called the manager (Kip) and politely began to tell him the story of what had happened. He just started asking me when we would pay and I said today. I then asked him if he was going to speak with the collection person about the disrespectful way he spoke to me. The manager (Kip) then said it was my word against his and that was his job being the collection person.

I told the manager that I had been a manager for a rent to own place and never spoke to a customer that way. He got mad and in return I got mad and he told me he wanted his merchandise back. I asked him what my minimum contract obligation was left and he told me so I paid it and they will be by tomorrow to pick it up. After read some of the other posts I doubt calling or e-mailing the corporate office will get me anywhere but I'm going to do it anyway.
