This is realy going to gross you all out!!!!

My boyfriend and I had recently got a realy nice bunk bed from aaron's (rent to own). We (including my kids) were all excited. The kids share a room, so now they get not just a cool bunkbed, but more room to play! We recived the bed on a Monday, in which there were missing parts so they had to deliver them the next day! Once the delivery men left I checked the bed out, obviousely it was not the one we were told we would get. There was gum stuck all along the end of the bed, it had tons of dog hair, dust and cobwebs too! One drawer had what appeard to be bird feces in it! As digusting as it was, i just cleaned it and everything was ok. Two days after delivery, I found a flea in my restroom!!! We don't have pets! So I talked to my boyfriend and concluded it could not be a flea because we have no pets. The following morning I was getting breakfast ready for my kids and my son comes to me complaining that he has itchy bumps (he is 3). He had a terrible rash along his lower back! Still not putting this together, I went on with the morning, reached for a cereal bowl and there was a flea! And it clicked! We checked the bed closer and found tons of fleas under were the matress rests. I was so disgusted!

Right away we contacted aaron's. The manager said they could not give us another bed, but they will replace the drawers! Like that makes anything better! Not even a sorry! So right away I got on line and found this website were i read more about aaron's! I was shocked! There was a story I read how they would not pick up items needed to be returned just so they can continue to charge the coustomer! So we contacted aaron's and told them we would accept their offer. While waiting for the delivery men, we moved the whole bunkbed out to the front porch. When they arrived we told them to just take it!!!!!

Employee is retarded

AUTHOR: Innocent Bystander. - (Canada)

I know how annoying fleas can be.

So far, from what I've noticed, the Aaron's in the U.S are chocked full of useless kids and immature adults. Obviously the managers aren't qualified to actually operate a store and the deliverymen and store front employees are children.

When you are at work (And not at work!) you are always representing the company you work for. Don't think you are? Go make an openly racist statement anywhere when you're not working and tell them where you work, $50 bucks says you'll get fired. Better yet, don't tell them where you work. Wait for someone who heard you to come in and recognize you (Which they will) and tell the manager. You can say good-bye to your "employed" status. Next time I see an employee comment, it had better be polite, professional, and helpful. If not, I'll be calling your store (the one located in said city) getting the store number and calling corporate, and e-mailing them a copy of your comment.

Anyways, in regards to the fleas, on the bright side you can call Orkin Pest Control and they'll take care of that problem for less than $100, however it does take up to 2-3 weeks for the treatment to fully take effect.

In the meantime, continually vacuum around the most infested area (2 to 3 times daily) and dispose of the vacuum bag every (Or take the canister out of the vacuum, be sure to take the vacuum outside first) time right after you finish.

In regards to Aaron's actually taking responsibility for the pest problem, don't count on it. It has nothing to do with corruption but the staff are required to repair or clean any returned items, or send it to an appropriate place for these required actions to happen. However, that will never always be the case as the company is different store by store.

But if you happen to read on into further reports, ignore any comments left by "so-called" employees, because children have no place here.

Know your merchandise

Before you make a claim about your merchandise, look at it first.  The bunk bed you have has no "under the mattress", it is wooden slats which would be just about impossible for your "fleas" to be.  More than likely you are just dirty people who need to learn how to clean!
