my name is jojo for short and i started modifcations on 5 homes that i own by paying a substancial amount of money upfront sept 2009. i was not given any rules at the time of how these modifications would work or not work. i was told the modification would take 3 or 4 months. i started out on my j o b getting them what they need for 4 months and then one mortgage company gave me a 90 day trial and took it back in 30 days. another mortgage company told hope4homes that i would never get a modification because this is a fha loan. because the contract i signed with them said if they were not able to get me a modification my money is refundable.  i have asked for my money back now for 6 months and they refuse and said they worked on this file.  the contract i signed with them did not say that. i have had 2 knock down fights with them and several arguments.  mathew abbasi kepts calling to collect more money and i have told him several times, until you honor the contract and return my money on this one property i will never pay you another dime. their charges to me ranged from $2195 to $3300 and i have paid them approximately $7600. the property that they contractually owe me my money back i paid them $1990. the other properties have also been a loss because they are not doing anything.  all they have sked me for is bank statements and utility bills for one year.  i have turned in full packets that the mortgage companies have requested from me over and over that abbassis and assoc hope4homes had no part of and seem to not have any knowledge of this procedure. my story goes on and on because i have been very actively involved.  if anyone is interested in suing and putting these people out of commission let's do this to put a stop to this fraud scheme they have advertised for business on national tv.  october 30, 2010

As this investor (not homeowner) has chosen to use an alias I will not reveal her name or her property addresses. Its easy to write a slanderous posting anonymously.

This investor simply wants to blame others for her failure to cooperate, provide timely documents and for being untruthful. We asked for a utility statement to prove her occupancy of these properties and she kept trying to hide the fact that she is an investor.  Her lender did not believe she is "occupying all of her FIVE properties" at the same time!  You cannot be an owner occupier for this many properties at the SAME TIME. The lenders caught on to this fact and that is why her modification files became such nightmares..... facts matter!

She is not some poor homeowner....this is an over-extended investor looking for a freebie. When you have 5 rental properties you will have a hard time claiming a hardship. The President's modification plan was designed for homeowners not investors.  Also, when you refuse to answer the phone and refuse to provide documents you are really putting yourself in jeopardy.

There are numerous correspondences to this homeowner, numerous unanswered phone calls and numerous unpaid bills..... Its hard to balance belligerent banks with belligerent homeowners..... This is exactly why I have stopped all modification services as of 6 months ago.

Facts matter!  Its easy to write a self-serving post..... In sum, the contract is  clear and is extensive. The contract clearly states that all clients must be truthful and must cooperate and she did not. Simple as that!
