I have the same story as many others. This company has wonderful merchandise and as long as there are NO problems it's a great place to order form if you can handle the ridiculous handling charges.

I had my first problem and all I wanted was to talk with someone in the Accounting Department. This is what transpired:

I received a notice that my account was 25 days over-due the first week in January. This in itself was surprising, since the last invoice I received was dated January 10th and I had jut received the items the day before. This was not my main concern, however. I had sent in a payment of $100 the first week in December and another payment of $161.00 on January 3rd. I went to your website and attempted to see if that payment was credited and could find no evidence at that time. My next step was to contact them as they requested, only to find that they were closed that Monday. I then added up all the invoices that I saw for my account and saw that there was a discrepancy of over $200 in what the invoices showed and what I had already paid you. The invoices I looked at showed all the way back to July. Since I could not contact them by phone I faxed a letter and received no response. I waited a few days and re-faxed it. I still received no response, only another E-mail saying my account was over due. All I wanted was to talk with someone about this and see if I had left out some invoices, before I sent the $91.32 they said I owed. I faxed a third time and shortly there after received an invoice in the mail. I wrote a letter on the invoice, enclosed copies of the Fax and asked that someone contact me so we could go over this problem. No one contacted me except through my voice mail saying that they had been unable to contact me during normal business hours and wanted me to call them. That was not true, since I have voice mail, caller ID and an answering machine and none of them showed that anyone had called except one week-end. I finally did receive a call on the weekend from a representative and thought he was calling about this problem. I told him I had been trying to reach ABC and briefly explained the problem. He said he was calling me only to see if I had received the last order and if I was satisfied with it. I told him I was and then asked him to have the Accounting Dept. call me so we could resolve this problem. He told me he would. I never heard from anyone.

One night, actually morning, at 12:30 AM, I received a call. When I answered there was no one there. I didn't know who it was, so I looked up the number and found that it was ABC Distributing, so I called the number shown on my Caller ID, only to be transferred to another department and then put on hold for almost 30 minutes. When someone finally came on the line I explained the situation and said I had been trying to reach them. She offered no real help, but did say she saw a payment of $160, I asked if she saw one for the $161 that I sent and she didn't really respond. She then offered to send me copies of my invoices so I could check them against the payments I had already made. I asked her if she would send them all to me from as far back as July and she assured me she would. I was only waiting to receive these to compare and if I did owe the money, I was going to send it out immediately. Today I received three pieces of mail from them. One had the last two invoices dated 12/21/2005 and 1/10/2006; another had one invoice dated 12/13/2005; and the last was a second notice for the last two invoices.

I am in the process of sending another letter to the company, but am not holding my breath as far as a response goes. Believe me, I am canceling my acount ASAP.
