Ripoff Report has responded to this Rebuttal as it pertains to Ripoff Report.  Please consider reading all commentary, including ours,  so you have the opportunity to hear everyone’s side of the story.

And oddly enough...I get calls from people saying they can remove this lie about me and my busniess...for the right price of course. lol.

Please take a moment to search and learn about Ed Magedson. He's the owner of this site..rip off report. This is what he does, he has people post lies about your busniess, and then has people call you saying they can remove it for the right price. Ed has been sued multiple times, but fails to ever be convicted due to loop holes in Arizonia state law.

There are many sites dedicated to putting an end to this garbage, please check it out....and stay as far away from this site as possible.

EDITOR’S NOTE:  Ripoff Report strongly believes in the First Amendment, even when it is about us.  We understand that people who have complaints written about them are upset and want to place blame somewhere, especially if they feel the content of the Reports are false.  We also understand that individuals want to blame our website rather than where it belongs – on the person who wrote the Reports in the first place – if, in fact, the information is false.  If the information is true…the business only has themselves to blame and can hopefully learn from the complaint rather than being defensive about it.  We all make mistakes…and having an opportunity to learn from a mistake is valuable.  If the truth is somewhere in the middle, at least all parties have the opportunity to share their side of the story.  Nevertheless, using the same method that we provide free of charge to all of our users, we would like to “set the record straight” as to the comments posted about our website through this Rebuttal.

Every user of our website has the opportunity to tell their side of the story, for free, just as we will do here.  After all, we have no way of knowing if the Report author is telling the truth (though they are presumed true based on the author’s agreement to the Terms of Service that the information is true and accurate) or perhaps the person/company who writes the Rebuttals to the Report is telling the truth - - or maybe the truth lies somewhere in between the two stories.  This is why we allow Reports, Comments, Rebuttals and Updates, for free, by anyone (including the person/company posted about) who has information to share about the situation.  This includes the ability to upload documents that support the position that is being advanced.  By doing so, all sides of the story are able to be heard so other users of the site can make an educated decision about the situation for themselves.  It’s also important to note that all of our users who sign up for an account with the website must check a box indicating that the information they report on will be the truth and that the Report will become a permanent record.

It is clear that the author of the Rebuttal by “Vinnie” is upset about the content that the original Report Author wrote about them and seemingly wants to also lay blame on Ed Magedson, the founder of Ripoff Report, for providing a forum where people can come and openly comment about their experiences.  This person CLEARLY doesn’t know what they are talking about. 

First,  Ripoff Report doesn’t have people write Reports about your business and then have people call you talking about removal.  If someone gets those types of solicitations it’s certainly not from Ripoff Report.  We are aware that there are companies out there, who may be in the business of selling SEO or other services, who will try to hook you by saying they are with us, or making it sound like they might work with us, when they really aren’t.  They may even go so far as to advise you that they can remove reports from our website – which is not the truth.  We have a long standing general policy for NOT removing reports in their entirety and anyone telling you that they can remove a Report is not telling you the truth.  Further, it is our understanding that even search engine rank reducing techniques are only temporary anyway.  Read about the new Digital Extortion here.   Again, if you ever receive a call from someone advising you they are with us or have a name that sounds similar to us, you should question the legitimacy of such a call.  Businesses are always encouraged to send us an e-mail to confirm the situation.  General inquires questions can be sent to Support@ripoffreport.com.  Second, while Ripoff Report does have paid programs with varying benefits depending on the need of the customer, none of them contemplate Report removal in the entirety.  Third, while it is true that Xcentric Ventures has been sued we don’t win because of “loop hoes in Arizonia (sic) state law.”  We win because interactive websites that allow third-party content are not liable for that third-party content.  This is well established Federal Law, called the Communications Decency Act.  Look it up…you might learn something.  Lastly, you might find it interesting to note that some of the “sites dedicated to putting an end to this garbage” are run by the same people that will try to sell you SEO styled services.   Wolf in sheep’s clothing?   Perhaps your finger pointing is going in the wrong direction?  You be the judge…but do some real research first.

We don’t condone businesses trying to take advantage of consumers – that’s why our website was started in the first place.  At the same time, we don’t condone consumers, disgruntled employees, or other past partners or business competitors, trying to take advantage of businesses either.  To all parties:  Keep it calm.  Keep it honest.  Keep it fair.  Do your research!

I can't believe what I'm reading. This is a complete lie about a great person with a excellent  business reputation.
I called my friend at Absolute and THIS is what's going on here.....

The owner of Absolute Printing was getting endless spam from a company called Gulfco Leasing. He reported it as spam to both his isp and  Gulfco Leasing's isp.He also posted it here...thinking this is a good site (wrong) and a few other spam sites that let people know about spammers.In return, Gulfco Leasing posted this LIE here about Absolute Printing.
End of story.

I've been doing business with Absolute for 9 years. They are awesome.But unfortunately,  They don't accept credit cards. So there's no way they could have charged someone's card once, no less 3 times.They also do not sell products. They offer a service just like they said in their rebuttal.

I would be happy to testify in any court on behalf of absolute printing.

Gulfco Leasing is using this site in the wrong manner. And even though it violates the agreement here to use this site....I understand the site will not remove it.

In my opinion, this should be removed and Gulfco Leasing should be banned from this site.I'd stay away from this site if you own a business. Let this be a example of what can happen to your busniess reputation.

I understand Absolute is going to sue Gulfco Leasing. I'll be there.

I offer a wholesale screen printing service (22 years...lifetime location..never changed my name). Customers send me shirts and other apparel and i print them with their provided artwork.
Want to know one of my biggest accounts? The New York State Police. LMAO.  And my uncle is the local police chief in Tillson NY where i live and do busniess.
SO....???? wanna ask either police agency if any such complaint has ever been filed against me? I'll pay $50,000 for any such(real) report to be shown. I'll give you my busniess and my home...hell, you can have everything i own if this could be proved even REMOTELY true.
This is nothing but a 100% lie about me and my busniess. It is pure slander, and will be treated as such by my lawyer.

I am a big supporter of this site. And i will do everything possible to have this removed. I hope that doesn't involve suing the site and it's owners, but if i have to...I will.
