On August 3, 2010, I was researching the Internet to learn about the AcaiOptimum plan. At first, I was skeptical, and then I read a report that gave the product rave reviews. So, I proceeded to order the product for the $1.95 that was advertised.

After I printed the confirmation, the receipt stated that your charges will read... It then showed the 99.95 charge. I was flabbergasted! I then proceeded to immediately cancel the order. I called customer service at a quarter til five, eastern times. The company states that it is opened until six. I got the voicemail that said to call during "normal" business hours.

The next morning, August 4th, I called the company back. I spoke with customer service representative, Danielle. She told me that they could only give me my refund in the form of a rebate check. I told her "no' that would not work for me and asked for a supervisor.

Chris was the supervisor that I spoke to. He was of no help and he was very short with me and rude. It was not until I returned the favor and became rude, that he agreed to refund my money back on my card, within 48 business hours.

On Sunday, August 8, the money was returned to my card. Great! I'm thinking this mess was over. Wrong! On Wednesday, I called my card and noticed money was debited that I knew nothing of. I called my credit card company. To my horror, AcaiOptimum had charged me for the product again!

I called the company and spoke with customer representative #102. He told me that a second charge had not been charged to my card. Are you kidding me? I then told him that I had spoken with my credit card company and had gotten this name and phone number.

The representative proceeded to tell me that the company was wrong. I then asked for a supervisor. After over thirty minutes of waiting and arguing with the rep. and telling him " no I will not call back," I was able to speak with the supervisor.

He was no better. He told me that he could not help me and to make matters worse, he hung up on me! I have put in a dispute claim against them with my credit card company, but something has to give. The representatives refuse to give a corporate number or address and they don't offer you needed assistance.

The amount lost may not seem like much to you, and it may not be. However, it is when you start scamming thousands. It is when you "sale" a product under a different pretense. And, when you treat potential consumers with disregard. Something needs to be done about this company who is probably sitting on their derriers enjoying a fat check and good laugh at our expense!
