On February the 2nd I was surfing the net for work purposes, this ad came up. I decided to have a look, seemed okay at first, the spam warnings did not come up and the website trusted the site. I decided to order the trial pack $6.95 through the credit card, hoping that it would help with the weightloss.
Unknown to me once I had put my details into order it, they had taken out $7.83 with the conversion of US dollars to Australian Dollars and then a further $101.90 was taken out. Unknown to me that the Terms and Conditions stated that after 3 days the supposed $99.95 would be taken out as well and then in 30 days another payment of $99.95 would be taken too.
Happened to be looking at my statement today on line, my jaw dropped. $101.90 and $7.83 had disappeared to YOUTH NUTRITION 8774504734, first thing i did was call the bank and they cancelled my credit card.
My order summary was Acai - Tracker Access - Todays special trial price, Acai - 60 day Supply (thats where the $99.95 comes into it, $99.95 per month) and Acai - Weight loss Guide. UPS 3 day shipping and handling. Should be here then ?
Said i would have to wait 30 days, if the product does not turn up then I could lodge a Stat Declaration with them so they could try and get my money back. They said that it was yes a large scam, said I should have googled the company before making a purchase, said that I normally do but as the website came as trusted didnt think i had to.
The emails bounce back and the Australian number i called +61 800 674 183 answers to a call centre for Enery Booster Customer Support. I have till the 11th of march to wait for this product to turn up.
Reading the reviews on this scam some have received the product and others are still waiting. Will I receive it being in Australia? I have my doubts there. I have an order reference number that I will try and see if the package is somewhere...
BEWARE - SCAM - DO NOT BUY - THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!
