This slime ball company reported a skip to all three national credit bureaus after screwing up their own billing process and is still telling me that my insurance did not cover me during the time that services where rendered. Even after I gave them a copy of the letter on an official letterhead stating that I was covered. This is the only negative information on my credit report and they refuse to remove it because they're completely incompetent. I keep disputing it with all three bureaus and they continue to say that the debt is valid and the negative information should remain.

I even tried to go to the original creditor and they simply said it's in the hands of this half wit group of morons. Acb Receivables Management are a bunch of incompetent fools incapable of doing anything right no matter how many times thatyou call them or write them. I've reported them to the OAG and the FTC.

#12 Consumer Suggestion

Don't let them get away with it.

AUTHOR: Ginger - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, February 16, 2008

1. When first contacting these jokers remember they have to prove the debt, not you. Get: Who the original creditor is, an itemized list of the bill (from the collection agency (not the doctor or hospital) Make the collection agency's job harder)

2. Send them a CEASE AND DESIST LETTER. FAX IT OVER TO THE TO 732-776-6624 Sent it to the attention of the president Chris Braun

3. As per the law you have the right to contact all the Major Credit Reporting agencies and send a 500 word written dispute which will be included in your credit report.

4. Keep a good eye on your consumer report. If you are successful is getting rid of this debt through the dispute channels they may relist the debt under one of the other names they do business as Medical-Dental Hospital Bureau and to make it look like a new debt they will change the debt amount by ONE Dollar.

These people are unsculpulious scum-bags. I don't know how they have been in business so long. But keep in mind every few years they change their name.

ACB Receivables Management

AUTHOR: Joseph - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 02, 2006

Very interesting. Just a few days after receiving a forwarded copy of my letter to the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General my Medicaid number was miraculously valid now. ACB had to surrender the claim back to the original creditor who then submitted my claim as ACB is not a medical provider. Medicaid paid them 30 days later and all of the negative information is gone from my reports.

Best part is ACB purchased that claim but is not a medical provider. So they gave the claim up PLUS lost all of the money they paid for that claim. The OAG sent me a letter asking if this matter was resolved to my satisfaction. I said NO,the company should be investigated. There must be a treasure trove of mishandlings in their records.

I'll have fun defaming these slimes. It's so cool that they think so little of destroying peoples credit report. I've got free time. ACB Recivables Management and any other company that operates the way they do should be exposed. It will take a while for all of my posts everywhere to exceed the amount of information in their website files but I'm pretty determined. If you remember Steve do an internet search under ACB Receivables Management (what was that name again?)ACB Receivables Management 19 Main st Asbury Park New Jersey...

Your welcome!

Total destruction is the best payback on illegal and unethical activity.

Keep in mind, you DO have the right to be compensated for damages, and it is very easy to win. Contact the NACA for a lawyer in your area who specializes in this.

Have fun!

Consider it done by the time you read this!!!I don't see how the law does not consider this kind of thing extortion. They not only reported to the agencies before I had a chance to contact them but totally screwed up the billing process.I'll take your advice.I'm going to take additional steps also.By the time I'm through with the various law enforcement agencies and internet forums you won't find anything but this information by doing a search for the company name ACB Receivables Management

Joseph..I believe they are affiliated, as I have dealt with them before..And

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 07, 2006

Joseph,

It really makes no difference if they are affiliated or not, that was just extra info.

Make them verify that they are licensed as debt collectors both in the state they send mail from, as well as in the state you reside in. Do this in writing.

Also do the debt validation thing and bureau disputes in writing by certified mail as described.

Anyway, good luck!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Do not ever speak to any collector on the phone. Always communicate only in writing and by certified mail, return reciept requested.

You do not ever have to prove that you don't owe the debt, the creditor/collector always has the burden of proof under the law.

Send a DEBT VALIDATION request by this means and be sure to put the certified # on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records. In this letter dispute the debt completely and DEMAND a full acount history as well as an itemization of charges. Also demand to see anything you allegedly signed to create the debt.

Keep in mind that these fools are JUNK DEBT BUYERS who paid approx 1 penny on the dollar for this "debt"

This debt buyer has the obligation to prove that you owe THEM the money, not the original "creditor". They must prove they own it and how much they paid for it in court.

Now write a dispute letter to each credit bureau by the means above, and clearly dispute the debt, AND demand to see whatever "validation" is provided by the collector to support the entry. This is your right under the FCRA.

You also have rights to sue for damages for the false reporting as per your rights under the FDCPA. Do it right away.
