I received a check in the mail for $1,985.00.  They wanted me to shop at walmart and target and spend $150.00 at each.  I was to get a moneygram $1,160.00 for them.  Pay myself $450.00.  And the cost of the money gram somewhere between $10. to $100.00 varies from state to state. According to the letter. I contacted the credit union which the cashiers check was made on they put me on hold and never came back.  I called the credit union again and asked for the fraud department they gave me the phone number to falcon.  They could not help they dealt with debit and credit fraud and they did not know who I should contact.  I called the phone number on the letter and did not talk to them the next day it was a fax and then I called the fax number and the man would answered the night before answered once again I said nothing.

IF YOU RECEIVE A CHECK IN THE MAIL DO NOT CASH IT !! It sounds like the deal of a lifetime but it will cost you a credit line and no one cares if you get scamed.  I care and I hope to track these creeps down but until I can figure it out don't believe everything you read! Send the letter to your state attorney general they are suppose to take care of fraud.
