Access is a bunch of scammers. I was scouted by 3 to 4 different scouts all in the same week in the same area where i worked. The final time i gave in, i specifically asked would I be charged, no we are a new face company looking for new faces to access and they would like to set me up with a director, if they like then they would move forward that day so be prepared, checkout our website etc.....

I get called by some chessy person wanting to schedule me for an appointmment the same night,I arrive @ the office for a 6pm appt that thurdsay evening. first i didn't get seen until 7:15 then in the meantime i see people running in and out of the office, with papers, so i'm thinking they must be pretty official.

so some guy by the name of diego interviews me, sells me this dream on how they did this and how i can have this opportunity of a lifetime and they signed this person here and there so on and so forth anyway it came down to me giving them a hundred dollars, and if i wasn't prepared they would have another guest in the lobby waiting that would potentially take my spot. I gave them my money, i had to initial a paper and sign some bootleg a** papers, then they gave me an number which they called it an talent id number and a password to upload photos on their site, they then give me homework to write a cover letter some of my goals and to put together a resume which differs from an regular job resume, okay then they schedule me for another appointment, which was only explained to be an meeting to go over my homeworkl and to put the cover and all the other B.S. together,

but not only was i mislead, but they con me into paying them $495 dollars for photos cause this client needs to see this look and going to a casting with this composite card another swindle to get my hard earned money. I book a shoot , but the day they scheduled me i'm on call @ work, i called and asked to reschedule the shoot no days before , it would be a 250 rescheduleing fee that's what they tell me, okay i was supposed to shoot with these guys on a thursdays they called my house 4am four hours before the schedule shoot time talking about ti's canceled and they will reschedule me, bull crap. I call to cancel now i have to write a cancellation letter.

All I'm saying don't be bother with these bull crappers(being nice) cause you can do bad all by yourself, i recommend that if you plan on pursing a modeling career that is not forced on you as far as in the dream SELLIng stay far from ACCESS WORLD TALENT SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM, and not to mention they had this bogus runway workshop which was AWFUL with a women named Kim and Diego very UNPROFESSIONAL VERY

jane had an ad of craigslist for jobs, and i thought it would be cool.she hired me on the spot. the next day, without any training, she sent me out to see how many people i could get phone numbers for. i got 20 on my first day after only 4 hours. when i called her, she told me to get 5 more.she even told me to go to walmart around midnight to scout. i have a 6 month old, im not taking him out at night. i said ok, but i went home. the next day, she had me moving furniture around her office and getting the copies that she was making. she never gets off her fat a*s. she treated me like a slave. as i was leaving to go "scout" she told me to get 30 people, 10 more that what the contract i signed said i had to get.she knew i was good so she wasnt asking advantage of it. when i didnt call with the people, she never called me. she didnt call me until the next day when i didnt show up. her new employee could have been dead in a gutter, but she didnt care as long as the list was still retrievable. there are no models there. just people that are paying to ave their picture on a website. they do not get you jobs or anything.they are not your agent. they just put your pic on a website and thats it. myspace does it for free. save your money and find a real agency.if you want to contact me, feel free to do so to. i have nothing to hide and will stand by what i said. i will also back up any claims that go to BBB if they have to do with monetary lose, i heard several conversations that could make your ears burn

Hi,
I would like to remain nameless
I just wanna let people know abbout Access World Talent.
SCAM!
About 3 months ago I was approached at Park Meadows Mall by a soo called Access World Talent Scout. I am 5 foot 5 inches tall, not fit, and by no means a model. After chatting a bit with this young girl who gave me an "interview card" and asked me for my name and phone number (By me being ignorant and being curious I made the mistake) gave her my name and number. Since then I have been called soo many times I almost feel harassed, after I told them the very first time that modeling was not for me and asked them to remove my name and number from there list. BEWARE- if you give your name and number they will hunt you like a collection agency.

Soo they stopped calling for a while.
Then a man named Patrick called me again.
Talking about some $500 photoshoots and that if I come in for an appointment I could be going to Milan like Ted Miller.
(Look at the sight)

It gets better.......
Little did they know I am an aquaintence of Ted and his family.
Apparently to my knowledge Ted emailed his pictures on his own to an agency in Milan.

Soon after Ted himself and the agent in Milan started there communication.
Interesting.........

So when I go check out the website, it seems Access took alot of credit.

I am curious to know if any of the Success Stories are real.
Also what exactly is a success story.........?

I did some research and I found a few other agencies in the Denver area.
I went to both Maximum and Donna Baldwin's website and did not seem to find the Success Story Section.

Also I noticed on Access World Talent's website that there are a few hot people and quite a few people that I would never call a model.
How do you explain that?

I may not be heavily involved in the modeling industry but I do read magazines. Magazines mainly have tall and skinny with a pretty face.
The people on the Access World Talent website, for the most part do not belong in the magazines I read.

Also when I talked to Patrick I was told all I need is to come in for an interview, and bring a $100 to be part of the website.

Wow, I can be a model for only $100.
Isn't that something?

AUTHOR: Tx Model - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 03, 2008

I am now 33 and have been modeling for about 10 yrs now...I was with an agency like Access World...when I was 13 yrs old. I received a letter in the mail announcing a casting call in our area. So my mother and I went to to the casting and it was hosted by JRP...I couldnt tell you how many people were in the room...I just know that about a quarter of us were picked however. We went through another screening with an agent, whom yes, told us it was going to cost X amount of dollars...I believe it was 1100.00 back then and it would consist of I believe 12 or 13 saturday classes lasting 4 hrs, or you had other options on days, however being in school I was not able to attend these days.... My mother was weary of it as you are, however, my grandfather seeing that it would make me happy to attend this MODELING SCHOOL, please not the capitalized letter, paid for me to go....
And let me tell you....it was the most HELPFUL and INFORMATIVE information as far as my modeling career goes that I have ever attended...If you want something you have to GO AND GET IT! Modeling schools are here to teach us...teach us how to walk, how to talk, how to interview, how to pose for pics, how to dress for certain situations, teaches us the different techniques of different types of modeling, they get you started with headshots and full body shots for a complete portfolio with the negatives, and they help you design a comp card and help market you...Do YOU THINK MODELS JUST KNOW THIS? Rarely! Do you think these companies can get you work or market you if you dont get up and do something and market and learn from the things that they teach you?
I get really sick of people bad mouthing these companies, because they are not the next super model or famous actress...IT TAKES WORK! You have to want to do it, and then you have to go out there do it...These schools and agencies are just here to get us started and send us on the right path! I am living proof that they are not a scamm! But they are not miracle workers either..they are here to inform, teach, help, and direct us in the right path with the appropriate information and tools to help us be successful in our dreams and future careers! NOBODY IS A MIRACLE WORKER, and you do not always get every audition or casting you apply for! Everybody gets turned down for gigs. It is not these agencies fault for that...you just have to hold your head high and try again and again and again. These agencies will help you the whole way with advice, workshops, photo sessions, and castings. Yes some of these cost money. How do you think the employees, agents, photographers, the different locations that they may use for whatever are paid? Nothing is free in this world!

I am a model with Access World Talent (NOT A SCAM!)

AUTHOR: Tedddyboi - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 16, 2008

Kelly assuming you are a real former talent of Access, which i highly doubt. I find it funny that you are claiming Access World Talent to be a scam. Perhaps you should do your research about modeling before you decide to enter the field.

A) Modeling is a career. All careers require investing. Any professional model in the world has spent probably around $1000 at least on their career before receiving money back. (My advice to you Kelly would be to ask your parents how much their education or training cost. Then ask them after graduation how long did it take them to earn the money back they spent on their education.)

B) Access World Talent uses only New York and Miami photographers. (Very talented and known ones as well) $450 for a New York photographer is a steal! An incredible deal! Consider also the motive as to why Access would have wanted you to spend the money on a photographer. Why on Earth would a client or agency take a look at you unless they had photos that show off your look to see if you are right for them. Also in terms of your cancelation fee, this is not a local senior picture photographer, this is a well known New York photographer who flew to Dallas to take your picture and you don't show up? Obviously you have a cancelation fee. You blew an opportunity and were unprofessional about planning ahead. I know the people that work at Access and knowing Diego I am sure he let you know well in advance exactly when your photoshoot was.

C) All of Access World Talents success stories are legit. I happen to have the newest one yet. I just got signed in New York City through Access World Talent. A scam??? I think not!

Coming from a person whose dreams are coming true due to Access World Talent I can assure anyone Access World Talent is not a scam! In fact, I think Access should charge more for their awesome services.

Sincerely,
Ted Miller

This claim is completely fraudulent.

AUTHOR: Access World Talent - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 05, 2008

Access World Talent believes this claim is fraudulent. The consumer listed at the top of this report, "Mike" (at the top of this complaint) was also listed in another slanderous and fraudulent claim on another site which has since been proven by Michael Delgado(the model) himself to be a falsified claim and removed. We believe this post to be by the same individual that posted the previous fraudulent claim as he has been harassing AWT employees, and has since been reported to the Dallas police department for doing so.

As further proof that this claim is completely made up: we have never had a talent by the name of Kelly in our new Dallas office. No Kelly has ever attended a workshop, nor has a "Kelly" ever asked for a photo shoot. Access World Talent is a member of the BBB in our Denver office, and currently under the approval process for BBB membership in our Dallas office.

Anyone who needs further clarification should please call our Denver office to speak with a manager as soon as possible so that we may help you our Denver office number is 303-861-1498 or our Dallas office number is 469-227-3770.
