Accountemps ripoff Woodbridge New Jersey

Stay away from accountemps better known as robert half international. I have worked with employment/staffing agencies since I got out of high school, that was about 17 years. I have worked for many staffing agencies doing short-term/long-term temp and temp-to-hire.

I made the mistake four years ago of answering a phone call from accountemps about a resume that they saw on monster. Since I know how agencies worked, I knew the procedures.

Accountemp reps are nice when you first register but after when they call to run possible assignments past your aprroval. If you tell them that you are not interested in any of them then they will either not call you again/try to get you to accept them. Plus they don't listen to you. If you tell them your minimum salary requirement, they will still call you with assignments that pay less. They tell you that if you have problems while on the job assignment to call them. This is a bunch of bull.

I worked at an assignment for them for over a year at a position that was suppose to go permanent. They told me that after 90 days that they will re-assign me if it doesn't go permanent. When I called them on it, they said that they never said that. After the client decided not to take me on permanent.

They would send me on any more assignments plus I found out from one of my friends that worked at another agency that I worked and registered with, that they emailed all of the other agencies that i worked or registered that I listed on my application with them, to not hire me for any assignments because the client didn't hire and I questioned them about the 90 day thing.

I called and left a message about this with the account rep and she called back and told me that it was perfectly in their right to do this. I told them that I would sue them if they continued to stop me from working. I also told them that I would tell anyone that I know not to register or use them after they treated me like this.
