Ace Car Rental Blue Oval LAX --Thye will add fraudulent charges to your credit card!! Dont Use Them, Los Angeles, California

ACE car rental, which I found through carrentals.com, has very shady billing practices. I rented a car from them in January and they charged my card the rental amount, plus $300 deposit. When I returned the car undamaged, they credited my card the $300.

However, since then, they have billed my card $300 each month, then credited my card the $300. In April I called them and they said to fax them my complaint and they would credit my account. In May however the charge appeared again and they said that it wasnt them who charged me, even though Blue Oval was the vendor name that appears on my statement. They told me to call my credit card's fraud department.

i thought the matter was resolved but this month however they told my credit card that they have already credited my account and now I have a $300 charge once again. They seem to want to nickel and dime extra money out of you. I'm not sure whether its out and out fraud, but it's definitely bad business systems at play at the very least. I think that they are counting on most people not fighting them because they aren't bilking consumers out of thousands at a time, just enough for them to fatten their pockets and not enough for most people to want to spend time resolving the issue.

Do yourselves a favor: When renting a car anywhere, stick with the major car rental agencies, who are more reliable and more consumer friendly. I will never use these smaller agencies again.
