I have recently come into a situation of horrible business.  On October 25th of 2012 I had the Washington Air Ducts servicers enter my home to clean my air ducts, which was desperately needed for my allergies and the health and well being of my daughter and my pets.  I found a voucher for them in the Valpak and decided to go forth and use the company.  I was promised (and paid for) clean and sanitized ducts.  A little over three weeks went by and my allergies (to dust and dust mites) were not improving, my child had a persistent cough, I decided I would give them a call.  This week was Thanksgiving and hectic, it was not until Friday the 23rd at 8pm that I became appalled.  I had just bought new vent covers to replace the broken one in the living room and was switching them out when I became utterly disgusted.  I took the old cover off only to get a face full of nasty dirt/dust/flying grey soot.  I worked the following Monday, so I could not call them until Tuesday the 27th. 

After three days of being the pursuer and not receiving the promised calls back I began feeling like this had been a scam all along.  I was offered 10% back and for them to send out their best technician to redo my ducts.  I was not ok with this proposal because I did and still do not want them back in my home, as I told the company through the supervisor, Samantha, I feel that this company is a scam and I would like to be able to have a better, more honest company come to clean what this company clearly did not.  I am asking for a refund of the $690.98 that I paid them to: use the snake on the ducts so that it could knock the dust loose, clean my furnace, clean the cold air return, negative pressure vacuum my ducts, clean my ducts and sanitize.  None of these were done so that I could breathe clean air.  I am hurt by the fact that I trusted them to do a job and paid them well for it and then for the company to not even let me speak with a manager to rectify the issue.  I am appalled at the way this company brushed off my concerns as though they were meaningless, meanwhile I have basically had almost $700 stolen.
