I ordered 8 Hunter ceiling fans from this company.  Two fans were defective out of the box.  The seller refused to replace them.

I paid a certified electrician over $1,000 to install all the fans and to re-check the ones that were defective.  The electrician determined that on one fan the motor was defective resulting in a loud buzzing sound (Hunter fans typically operate almost silent).  On the other fan the blades were bent which resulted in the fan wobbling violently.

Seller has a 5 business day return policy that is not clearly disclosed at the time an order is placed on their website.  I was not aware of this policy when I ordered.  We were doing construction on our house at the time the fans were delivered.  They were not opened and installed until after the return period had expired.  Upon discovering that the fans were defective I contacted the seller by phone.  They absolutely refused to cooperate. 

I then contacted the Ace Hardware corporate office (Ace Hardware Outlet is just a retail shop in Brooklyn using the Ace Hardware name online that is "unaffiliated" with Ace Hardware).  The corporate office seemed concerned at first but determined that it was not their problem, although one representative did acknowledge that there were lots of problems with Ace Hardware Outlet.

My credit card company is issuing a chargeback to my credit card.  I will also be suing the retailer in small claims court for the installation fees and for the cost of my time.

I would not do business with Ace Hardware Outlet.  In this case the extra money I would have paid to order the fans through Amazon or Hxxx Dxxxx (((REDACTED))) would have been well worth it.
