Acemobi Sam Held my potential website hostage for 80k that was not reported to me. Laguna Niguel, California

As a new start up company, we decided to work with AceMobi to create a website for our company. A simple website was agreed to be created, and requests were made upon us in order to customize the website with out branding. The estimation for this was around  $4,0000. However, Sam from AceMobi, wanted everything to be outsourced. We needed to come up with the designs for the website, download all icons, and just hand him the information. The work  was definitely spoon-fed to him and his team. When we did send him emails in response to his work done, he didn’t respond to our emails to let us know that they were received. He responded within 3-4 days and not all of the changes were always implemented. If changes were implemented you can tell that they were done quickly and possibly took a couple of minutes. He also did not consult to let us know, about what we needed from 3^rd party vendors. After hours, week, months of spending time to get a simple website done.

IT STILL WAS NOT DONE THE WAY WE WANTED TO IN A TIMELY FASHION. Then any requests made for the website so we can be fully satisfied and have it match our brand as initially agreed upon WAS NOT  being done.  He said told us he couldn’t do it, or simplify the work even more so for him.  We thought we were getting the services deserved, and they were taking their dear time with this. Now, we pushed our launch multiple times because of the slow development and lack of response on the AceMobi team. They had given us a date for the website to be officially done, and that date would fail, time and time again. We trusted that he would stick to his word, and planned celebrity endorsements, paid posts for our bloggers, have been delayed and made us look bad as a company. This has cost us $8,000 dollars a day in revenue, and Sam from AceMobi is well aware of this. AceMobi and Sam are utterly and beyond incapable of DEVELOPING, and managing an E-commerce site or even a simple site without it looking like a gimmick.

We talked to Sam in order for him to finish the work, since we decided to still give him a chance after months of ineptitude, and he exploded and told us that until we pay him for $81k that he will change all of our accounts, and delete our email accounts and shut down the website.  He told us that we are a start-up and can’t have a successful launch and we don’t understand anything. Again, we trusted him to make a website for us, he takes months to “finish” and then is holding our website HOSTAGE FOR $81,000 when we were estimated for $4,000 website. He now is asking for a check only, and will not respond to emails, pick up. Now we are trying to pay our 4,000 estimates in order to get the logins, and have another developer finish what we asked for.  He is still not picking up, he has our social security number, credit card accounts, and said if we get a hold of him, he will charge us $450 an hour in order to speak to him.

Keep in mind, he never told us, how much each “request” will cost! We are currently being black mailed for logins, and will not accept the payment that was initially accepted upon. No one should work with this company, particular trust Sam. He is blackmailing us with the website, for MORE MONEY than agreed upon. Which is not even a reasonable amount; there was price jump from 4k to 81k OUT OF THE NOWHERE!! All we want are the logins, and part ways without getting blackmailed for an obscene, uncalled for amount of money which was never warned or told about.  If logins aren’t given to us, we will contact our attorney and let them know of all of this ridiculous, unprofessional work ethic. I will contact bloggers and pay them, website and let all of my network in LA and OC to not give him any work since this is a company that will PURPOSELY SLOW DOWN YOUR COMPANIES PROGRESS IN ORDER TO CHARGE YOU MORE MONEY, WITHOUT TELLING YOU OR YOUR CONSENT. NO ONE SHOULD GIVE HIM ANY BUSINESS. I had 3 other web developers too look at our site, they all estimated that website to be done for $2,000 dollars and to be done in two weeks! AceMobi is charging us 81k and took about 6 purposely extended months!

HE DID NOT EVEN REPLY TO OUR EMAILS TO LET US KOW THEY WERE RECEIVED, OR THAT EVEN RESPONDING TO AN EMAIL WOULD CHARGE US.

He never disclosed that doing research for himself, to better understand OUR BUSINESS MODEL, so he can create a competent website would cost us $16,000!!!

He won’t have good business ethics to accept the money agreed upon and transfer ownership of what was done because he feels entitled to what he has created to be work 80k, when we time and time again, have been ripped off and received 2k estimates for the website work!

Again, he argues with us whenever we try to find a solution, and pay him for the services estimated the first time. He keeps insulting us and telling us we don’t understand since this is a start-up company. Sam from Acemobi will try and take your money, delay projects, insult your potential company without remorse and BLACK MAIL YOU. We will not let ourselves to be quietly blackmailed and taken advantage us you are costing us over 8k in revenue daily and hurting relation
