Debt Collectors- the biggest prostitutes in the entire world! they will say anything and take any amount of abuse to get a buck.

This is too good. ACI is attempting to collect a debt that is over 10 years old from a friend and client.

The statute of limitations ran in 2000. ACI artifically inflated the alleged debt amount to $22,000.00 and then threatened to file a lawsuit and take houses, cars and even garnish wages.

Further, they claimed that the statute of limitations had not run because the SOL allegedly restarted each time the debt was sold from the original creditor to a debt puyer. This is hogwash- but it makes for an interesting discussion with a debt collector who is uneducated, probaly a felon and will say anything to anyone to get a buck.

Unfortuantely, for them, I know what the laws are & my friend came right to me with this issue.

This group is conenctred to NCO Portfolio Funding. That appears to be a division of NCO Financial which is well known in the world of collections as one of the most unethical and yes, most sued collection groups in history. A den of scumabags? They sure are. www.budhibbs.com

ACI has been sued for unfair debt collection over 29 times. I pulled them up on PACER, the federal case management database. Note, this does not include the numerous times that have been sued by consumers in State courts for illegal debt collection practices.

The chief scumbag in this den of theives is William Pinkney, CEO. A fine example of inbreeding if I have ever seen one. He resides over this motley crew and cracks the whip to make sure they do everything possible to take advatage of little old ladies and uneducated citizens of this great country just so he can pay for his jet airplanes.

One really intresting tidbit is that ACI does not have a registered agent listed in their corporate infomration section. Now why would a corporation not have a registered agent listed? Its so the consumers who sue them in a court of law will have a harder time serviing the corporation. Bascally, this is a tactoc to these cockroaches will be able to avoid the shining light of truth and justice.

If you are contacted, consider everything they say to be a lie until you receive independent confirmation of their statments regarding your rights and obligations.
