Acocella Law Group mortgage mod scammer; promised and never delivered Woodbury New York

Eaton Grant from Acocella Law Group, Woodbury NY, promised a loan modification and told my client to send money before any work could be started by the law group (this is illegal anywhere in the US).

Eaton Grant also told my client to stop making mortgage payments.

After 3 months my client stopped making the $850 payments.  At no time did my client ever receive an itemized bill or invoice of the services supposedly provided.  Legitimate lawyers send monthly invoices.

My client was then told that there was nothing the law firm could do.  However, a man from the law firm called to get more money.

Stay away from this law firm.  Get help from a LOCAL agency or talk directly with your lender.  Either costs nothing to you.  If you can't locate an agency that can hep check with your mayor's office.
