Once again, I have received an email threatening legal action for an unpaid debt I never incurred. This is the second time this has happened to me-- while at one point I looked into getting a payday loan, I never actually accepted one. The letter claims charges of "violation of federal banking regulation, collateral check fraud, and fraud by deception". I'm not even the primary recipient of the email; I'm a BCC.
