I want to tell each of you a story about Action Bail Bonds, so that you don't fall into their traps like I did earlier this year.

In February, my son was taken into custody by INS in Florence, Arizona. While in Jail, someone told him his best chance of getting out was to call Action Bail Bonds. So, after researching my options. I decided to go along with the advice and make the call.

When I called Action, they said they would not even consider helping me out unless I was able to put down a credit card payment of $1,150 for a $7,500 immigration bond. Since I do not have a credit card, I asked a friend to help me out and he agreed he would. But, after he spent most of the day trying to fax and email them the verifying documents they wanted, they told him that he did not qualify.
By this point, I was so angy with the way that they had treated my friend that I called and tried negotiate the bond myself. Finally, after several tries, I got Veronica on the phone and she said that they would accept my house as collateral and, yes, another payment $1,150.

I immediately went to Westen Union and sent them the money. Once they got my money, they sent me the paperwork, which I signed, had notarized, and returned to them. A few days later, they called me back and told me property did not qualify and that I needed another credit card payment for $1,150.

After I mentioned that I would not try to find someone else with a credit card to help me out, they said could no longer help me and that they would be sending me a check for some, but not all of the money I had sent them.

I was so upset that I had to file a claim to the Nevada Department of Insurance- I still can't believe two things. First, that they told me twice that I qualified, only to them turn me down and second, that they kept some of the money even after I told them I was no longer doing business with them.

Somebody help me!
