I went through program for 16 months paying every month
Only thing that happened is I got judgments and none of my credit cards went down. In fact creditors wanted interest for all of them.

Since they weren't doing anything for me I had to file bankruptcy. CCDN found out I was filing bankruptcy to get from under all this mess and they stopped doing anything for me.Even told me that I couldn't get any money back from them because that is not how they work. They sent me all of three different letters to use with the program and that was worth $12000.00 to them I guess. They didn't even help calling the creditors to find out what was happening with my accounts or anything.

Since I didn't really use them much over the 16 months I was in it I thought that I should have some money back. They went months without hearing from me and they didn't have to do anything for me in those months. Only when my accounts were sent to bill collectors did I send something off. Not happening every month.

I guess in the 16 months maybe 6 of those months did I ever use them. They then sent me letters to send to the collectors that did no good at all.

Does anyone know how to get at least some of the money back?

CCDN, This business has not been accredited by BBB, unless you speak to Mark.

AUTHOR: Kimberley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Just clarifying things for any potential clients looking into this business, who have perhaps read their BBB rating.

I will put it in quotation marks for Mark, since he would assume by the website that non accredited is the same thing as accredited & or member. This is information received from the Trade Practice Consultant in response to a complaint filed against CCDN.

"This business has not been accredited by BBB.

Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation.

To be accredited by BBB, a business must apply for accreditation and BBB must determine that the business meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB Accredited Businesses must pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public."

Yes, they are a member & they do show a decent rating with the BBB, which basically means nothing. Pay attention to the last paragraph. Any business can be a member (or as Mark would lead you to believe same as "accredited" which is incorrect). Whether or not all complaints filed have been included in their report, remains to be seen.

Thanks Mark, Enron is an excellent example! Although I cannot say I knew their rating, we'll assume you do.

It's experiences like this, that only the strong survive. I have a life and intend to continue living it ;-)

By the way..........it's R & G Marketing, and my name is spelled with an "e".

Again, Kimberly has a hard time reading - No wonder she's in trouble

AUTHOR: Mark J. - (U.S.A.)

This is a question that came DIRECTLY from the BBB WEBSITE

From the BBB website:

"Does BBB Accreditation mean something different from BBB membership?

No. The two are synonyms. From BBB inception, businesses that apply to the BBB have undergone a detailed review process and committed to abide by a set of ethical standards for marketplace conduct. "

In simple words (for Kimberly), 'accreditation' is just the new term they use in place of "member", it has nothing to do as to the performance of a company in handling complaints.

Even "members", excuse me, Accreditated businesses (for Kimberly) or NON Accreditated businesses can get BAD reports or GOOD reports.
Remember ENRON? They were an A++ Accreditated business, and the list can go on and on.

Get a life and move on. Sounds like you should have filed Bankruptcy.

Mark J, Get your facts straight. This came directly from the BBB when I filed a complaint.

I asked that they varify the difference between an accredited & non accredited business, since their sight appeared to be vague....her response to me:

YOU CAN'T TRUST THE BBB ANYMORE EITHER

They are no longer consumer advocates and work with the companies to screw you

THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR - they do not want to risk losing DUES PAYING MEMBERS.

they side with the company over the consumer.
They do not post all the complaints received.

CCDN, they want you to file for bankrupcy...it keeps you out of their hair.

AUTHOR: Kimberley - (U.S.A.)

I'm so sorry to hear of your misfortune with CCDN. I trully understand. They are not an ethical business, I know.

I'm sure you were sold the same gimmick, they'll file a federal lawsuit same day your sued in state court, and that it didn't happen. (Although they probably led you to believe it did, but it didn't) They sell you with the line that creditors/debt collectors never have the proper validation, yes they do. How about those credit applications that they have never seen, not one of them........another LIE. And creditors/debt collectors always & repetitively violate FDCPA laws, no they don't - or well, yes they do....but if they aren't addressed within the year, shucky darn for you, because they won't be handled correctly by the support group, so it's just more hogwash. Their only good communication is in the beginning when they keep you busy filing paperwork, after that, their done. And you paid them alot of money that you didn't have, to do alot of work that you didn't know about, to get no results or legal support from their "network of attorney's"

You should file a report with the BBB, at least you'll be a part of the complaints filed against them, since they are non accredited - that means they have made NO committment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. Sadly they use the BBB as a business tool to give you the illusion that they have business ethics. And they'll tell you to file a complaint, because they don't really care - AND you should just to keep the numbers climbing, eventually it will not be good for business. In time, it will become too difficult for them to explain as more people voice their stories. Right now they still have room to breathe, that needs to change.

Aside from a lawsuit against them, I'm guessing that there is not much they plan to do for you without a fight from your end. Perhaps another class action suit will begin building, at least you'll get some satifaction from it, not much money, but knowing they had to dig deep & stress over things for awhile should be somewhat satisfying.

The FTC, is another filing. The Attorney General of your State & NY, should add some additional stress for them. Write your state govenor, senator & congressman. Eventually someone will get to the right person and eliminate them. What about the attorney that handled your bankruptcy?

Since you needed legal help to get yourself out of your debt issue, you'll need legal help to get your money back from them as well, remember they are betting against you, with your money! that you just walk away and do nothing like many have done in the past.

Good luck!
