Active Periodical A few years back I did order magazines through this company. When it came time to renew, they called me up and I thought they were disputing that I had not paid them all that was owed. Instead, they automatically "sample" magazines that were disgusting. I actually subscribed through this company several years ago, and once the subscritions ran out, the company contacted me and I understood them to say that I still owed for some of the magazines, so I gave them my credit card number. Instead, I was actually renewing the magazines for another five years, plus they were sending me some "sample" magazines. The "sample" magazines were trash that I would never want to receive in the mail, much less purchase. I have a child in the home, and I had to be careful that he didn't see these magazines. When the company called to see if I was still getting the magazines (I have received at least of these calls) I told them that I didn't order the magazines, and that I wasn't going to pay for them. I was told that I was in a binding contract, and that I had to pay for them. The credit card that I had used initially had expired, and I would not give them another number. I talked to Ms. Tracy White, and she said that if I would pay $80.00 (check by phone) that this would end the contract and I wouldn't be getting anymore magazines. I am still receiving the magazines, that I am not paying for, and regardless of how many times I have asked them to quit sending them, it never stops. Each time they call to see if I am still getting the magazines, I tell them that I have not been paying for them, no will I pay for them.
