Active Periodicals Magazine phone scam Claims accounts due from 5 years ago Fraudulent credit card charges Customer service line never answers Ripoff Deerfield Beach Florida

Received numerous phone calls from Active Periodicals stating that I owed an account from at least 5 years ago. I never received the magazines I ordered several years ago but paid the account in full at that time.

I received several calls that I still owed them money and when I refused to pay anymore they promised me the full subsription to the magazines I ordered just to remedy the account. This was to be at no further charge to me.
They stated that in order to receive the magazines I had already paid for they needed to verify my account, phone number and address. A supervisor stated several times that there would be now further charges to my account and that the information was just needed for verification purposes. She also stated that it wasn't fair for me to have paid previously for all the magazines and not receive them so she was making arrangements for me to receive replacement issues.

I spoke with 3 different people and they even called me back several times to insure my account was handled. Two of the names were Rebecca and Wesley.

I am receiving charges to my account by Active Periodicals. I have tried several times to contact them but their customer service number never answers.
