Active.com does online registration for different events like 5K, Marathons, etc. Apparently, when you sign up for a race, you also sign up for "Active Advantage" which will be charged to your credit card after 30 days if you do not cancel. I just wanted to sign up for a 5K, I was not aware that I was opting in for a $64.95 service. I have sent an email, social media, etc, filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and now I have been onhold with Active for over an hour. Something needs to be done.
