Adam Wes tutoring advetises its services all over craigslist and they are running a scam. The way the scam works is this: you call up the tutoring service and pay a deposit. They then call around to find a tutor in your area. That is why it says it takes up to 2 days to receive tutoring. Because they need that time to find one. If they dont find one, good luck on getting a refund. In my case I could never get Wendy on the phone and never got my deposit back until i filed a dispute with my bank. And if you ask for Adam Wes to tutor you, they tell you he charges $300/hr for tutoring. What kind of real tutor charges that. So bottom line is you are better off finding a local tutor than to pay this company a deposit and basically kiss that money good bye. Adam Wes is a rip off scam so student beware!!!!

AUTHOR: 90213 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, June 13, 2011

Hello,

Thank you for researching our business. As a company that has many outstanding tutors, we advertise heavily on Craigslist. For this reason, other companies advertising on Craigslist sometimes try to sabotage our business. We understand that this is the nature of the beast and do our best to provide accurate information when inaccurate information is reported. To prove that this report is a HOAX, we invited the author to provide proof that the transaction really did occur. The author has, not surprisingly, yet to respond.

Here are a few points clarifying the original report filed by our competitor.

1) Adam Wes Academics charges customers only after successful tutoring is completed. The report claims that a refund was attempted after making a deposit. Our billing protocol simply does not accept deposits. Please read the policies on our website at www.adamwes.com or call (888) 311-8271 to confirm with a live person.

2) Adam Wes does not charge $300 per hour. If a customer is interested in working with Adam Wes there are many references available. Please inquire at (888) 311-8271.

Adam Wes Academics has been in business for four years and has helped 1000s of student achieve a great level of success in the subjects of math and science. If you are a parent or student interested in receiving the highest quality tutoring at affordable rates, please contact us for more information.
