I will NOT use the Adept Moving & Storage company again! I would like to say, had it not been for the Manager Anthony I wouldn't be writing this report! I moved a month ago and the move itself went great! The price was right, the movers were on time and worked promptly to complet the job within a couple hours.  I was planning on paying with cash but decided to use my credit card so I could even tip the movers a little extra because they were so helpful.  I was aware of the surcharge for using my credit card and wasn't shocked or upset by this. Again everything went well until the move was complete! 

About a day or two after the move I received a phone call from Anthony asking for a favorable review on yelp. I told him I was busy with unpacking and hoped to get to it by the end of the week. He was very insistent and sounded a bit desperate on the phone for a simple review. A week had gone by and I had not gotten to the review yet and I received a phone call and an email from Anthony. . I don't know about you, but after a move I am preoccupied with unpacking, cleaning my house, and getting situated in my new home.  Writing a review was not at the top of my "To Do" list. After a third call (that I didn't answer) I finally told my boyfriend to write a review from his account. My boyfriend had been with me through the entire move and saw how helpful the movers were. He gave the company 5 Stars! This was not enough!

Apparently Yelp filters some reviews. We did not know this and turns out our review was filtered. I have no clue what this means and truly do NOT care. What I do care about is the fact that I was still receiving phone calls to write a review. It has been a month since I moved and I received a  phone call today asking for a review yet again! We had enough! My boyfriend contacted Anthony to ask him to stop calling and emailing me and was told he did not contacting me so many times.

Then Anthony told my boyfriend that since I used the certificate available on Yelp that I "had" to write a review or I shouldn't have used the certificate if I wasn't a member on yelp. No where does it state that I can't print out or use the certificate through my boyfriends account. He continued to tell my boyfriend that I promised him a good review (which we posted!). After arguing with Anthony my boyfriend told him to call Yelp if he has problems with the way reviews are filtered.

After this conversation my boyfriend decided to write a second review recounting the phone calls and emails. And although Anthony had replied with an apology my boyfriend received another phone call today from Anthony. Basically Anthony yelled at my boyfriend on the phone telling him he should dump me because I am a "lying B*%..." and that my boyfriend can get laid elsewhere. THIS IS INSANE!!!! He then went on to tell me that my boyfriend is going to put him out of business and that all him movers are going to be homeless because of him. Again INSANE!

There is No reason for me to lie about my experience. However calling me a liar and using other racist terms is not acceptable! Following my last review I received another email from Antony and I have uploaded it to my report! Even though the email is short you one can see that it is quite unprofessional. Buyer Beware!!! THIS IS JUST BAD BUSINESS! 

The only person that will put Adept Moving & Storage out of business is Anthony! He is unprofessional and clearly should NOT be contacting clients! I suggest getting an assistant who wont use racial slurs and call their clientele the B word!

I'm truly sorry for responding to your ripoff report with such a delay. This is because our company has undergone certain changes and now I'm a new Customer Care Manager at ADEPT MOVING, which is promoting even higher standards and better customer services than ever before. I sincerely hope that we'd be able to settle all past issues and eliminate any negative feelings you might have regarding your last move. I truly regret about what happened back then. We apologize for Antony’s behaviour, which is unacceptable, and I really desire to improve Your personal opinion about our company, which is why I promise that I'll put maximum effort into improving our relations.
