DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ADOBE - ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE, CLOUD, OR STOCK.

I have used Adobe products for years, but recently I signed up for a one month subscription to Adobe Stock, 10 images a month for one month, for $35, and the $35 to be reimbursed.

Instead they sign you up for a year subscription which you cannot cancel without a terminatoin fee.  To terminate they want $146!

Rationally communicating with the customer service rep, Fazal, by chat, was of no use, even though I explained that I never signed up for a year-long subscription.  I explained this is bait and switch and he just said, "sorry you misunderstood".

This is unacceptable business practice.  I will be filing a complaint with the BBB or Attorney General.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ADOBE.  They will lock you into a membership without your permission.  If you do not want to be ripped off, and you want peace of mind, and honest and reasonable customer care... get your software elsewhere, but not from Adobe.

I am planning, as soon as feasible, to phase out all my Adobe Software.

Regarding the consumer comment: Failure to fathom the facts AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

You should read my other, updated report, before commenting.  If you did you would see I was offered a full refund, cancellation, and no futher billing.  So your comment is irrelevant.

Failure to fathom the facts

“I signed up for a one month subscription to Adobe Stock, 10 images a month for one month, for $35, and the $35 to be reimbursed.”

You signed up for a one-year (not one-month) subscription. The Adobe website states:

Your first month will be refunded when you sign up for one year of Adobe Stock (10 images a month plan) at US$29.99/mo. (plus applicable taxes)

Cancel risk free within the first month

You did not qualify for the $35 refund because you did not honor the one-year agreement. You did not qualify for the risk free cancellation because you did not cancel within the first month.

You were not ripped off. You failed to honor or comprehend the terms you agreed to.

“I am planning, as soon as feasible, to phase out all my Adobe Software.”

What graphics software do you intend to use?
