ADT ADT Security Failure to deliver critical services in a timely manner. Boca Raton, Florida

We hired ADT for security systems in our new corporate offices.  They failed to file permit requests on time and as a result they did not deliver their services prior to our move.  We called them many times to see if they had filed for permits and they never returned our calls.  Once they had a contract, they simply didn't care to talk to us or do what they needed to do.  I have heard from many people that they are incompetent and was warned to make sure they filed their permits because others had had similar problems.  As a result, our facilities were insecure.  We have had to hire expensive security guards at our facility and despite that in our first week we had expensive computer equipment and an employees personal items stolen from our office.  Their customer service is a joke.  People have told me that they just don't care because they have a virtual monopoly.  That is not the case.  There are alternatives.  PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not do business with this company.
