   One day i get a knock on my door and a ADT representitive was welcomed in we sat down and talked about my newly purchased house stating that it already has an alarm system i just dont know the code i told her i`d probably be selling within a year or so anyway but if she could get the system working finding the code that is i would consider signing up for an account we fill out the paperwork for the technition to come out to see what he could do she said she might be able to slip a new keypad by fi the contract were to go i told her well see, so i get a call three days later saying she could make it for another couple of days and it would be on call i told her i`ll be here..

6 days later they show up with a new key pad door sensors witch i alredy had and went to work syaing we couldnt get the code the replacement key pad is the exact same model and brand he changes teh sensors rather than just checking the batteries (they all worked anyway) and they turn on the system that evening my girlfriend reads the contract becuse its finally up and working before it was just waiting to see if they were even going to show up but once its running wanted to see what this all entails,, there a 72 hour clause on SIGNING of the contract that binds you to a three year you owe 75% of the contract on quiting deal well we called that night ..

anyway they call back and say the 72 hours was signing on activation well thats where i feel ive been ripped off becuse the system was not even working by the time they have already locked me in on the deal.. i told the technician that i want to stop right away he said unplug so i did a mo later...oh by the way she walked away with 153.00 dollars the day of the signing also that was for three mo of service. when i quit i told them i would like my refund...well its turned out they want there 75% of a three year contract.. sh*tty huh?
