Where to begin? Scott Brew is the owner of a large network of companies, mostly online games but also Adtegrity, which ironically is a company that claims to protect the integrity of people that use them. Here is my story about Mr. Scott Brew and his shady, horrible business practises. It's a long story, but bear with me.

I purchased a subscription membership for the game Jurassic Jungle, as well as some items (Totalling about $100 US). The way it works with their subscription is that every 24 hours you receive bonuses and freebies, due to being a paying member. I guess some accident happened with their servers, because the game went offline for about a week - the website was totally down. After it was restored, there were many aspects of the game that still weren't corrected. The bottom line is I paid for something and it wasn't delivered.

There was no contact information on jurassicjungle.com, so I used the ingame message board to ask about contact information and a refund enquiry. At this point, I was only looking for a refund or extension based on the days the game was offline. However, I was sent this message by someone who said they worked for the company:
"first of all....don't bullsh*** me... you only a reg. subby with 47 days remaining....so therefore you did not spend no more than $10 in this game."
Eventually I was given the contact address support@onlinegamingnetwork.net. By this point I was genuinely offended by the treatment I received and was done with this game.

Throughout these emails, I was in direct contact with Mr. Scott Brew, and not one of his foul-mouthed employees (though he's not much better.)

At this point, I was told that I shouldn't expect the game to work perfectly, as it was in BETA form (something that was listed no where on the website.) The replies I received were concise and unfriendly; I was told succinctly that "purchases are not refundable" despite nothing being mentioned on the main page. My complaints were labelled "Angst" and I was told "I don't think we "owe" you anything." I was also told that my refund request was an attempt to defraud the game. I was repeatedly refused a copy of EULA or return/refund policy when I asked. At one point I expressed frustration that I was in Canada and was unsure whether I could report him to the BBB due to Canadian FOIP laws. After that there were no replies. He figured he got away "Scott" Free.

Think that's it? It gets worse.
I filed with the BBB, who opened the complaint against "Adtegrity." Which shares an address, phone number, fax number, and CEO (Scott Brew) with OnLine Gaming and Jurassic Jungle. Mr. Brew was lightning-quick in telling the BBB that "Customer's complaint is with Online Gaming Network, LLC, not Adtegrity."
Really, Scott?
The BBB called Adtegrity and asked if it owned Online Gaming Network, and was told "Yes."
Scott replied , "Adtegrity provided no services to customer and has no operating relationship with Jurassicjungle.com other than to provide marketing services."
But they share an address, telephone number, fax number, and owner.
In fact, when the BBB asked what the best way to contact Scott Brew, the owner of Online Gaming, they were given the address "scott@adtegrity.com"
Nevertheless, the BBB changed the complaint to be against Online Gaming Network, and not Adtegrity.

The case was dropped about a month later because as soon as the name was changed over, Scott pulled his Houdini act again and refused to reply or comment. He didn't care about me and he obviously doesn't care about the BBB. I hope Ripoff Report does a better job getting the word out about this sneaky, two-faced guy, that can run a business touting "integrity" with one hand while the other rips people off.

Did I mention Adtegrity is accredited by the BBB? It has an A+ rating, while Online Gaming LLC, one of Scott's numerous other companies operated out of the SAME building, by the SAME man, has a rating of F.

If only ONE person sees this report before doing business with Adtegrity, OGN, Jurassic Jungle, Starwake, or any other of Scott's companies, it will have been worth typing this out.
(Though not, perhaps, worth my wasted $100)
