I recieved a letter and a check from Advanced Fianancial Settlements LLC. The check is for the amount of 3,980 and is from Citibank,it looks very real !!

it states in the letter that i won the 2nd prise of Publishing Clearing House Sweepstakes Lottery held on August 31st.2012. That i won 150,000 and the processing fees are 2,870. I need to contact the claims agent Joseph Hill at 1-778-918-5438 before i cash the check to start the claim processing and to activate the check.

It also states that my payment will come as certified check and will be delievered by UPS. i know i did not sign up for this sweepstakes and am pretty sure it is a rip off !!

Do you remember entering the PCH Sweepstakes Lottery? PCH uses just Sweepstakes, not both sweepstakes and lottery. If/when you win, a legitimate company will contact you to have you fill out an affidavit and then release the funds to you. They don't send a check and ask you to send (Western Union I bet) money back to them. Plus you can go to PCH website to find who the winners were. Please don't fall for this, it's one of the oldest scams around.
