Ouch !! I was ripped of by Advanced Car Stereo too !!

  I feel your pain, I too had a horrible experience with Advanced Car Stereo in Murrieta . After trying several times to get them to make good on a lousy installation and poor quality products I finally gave up . I was able to get the finance company to cancel the contract so that I did not have to continue paying these thieves. So if you want lousy insulation , Terrible customer service, and if you love being ignored. Then give them a call. but I guarantee you will regret it.

Please be advised that reporting the facts of an experience with your company and my honest opinion of your company is not "slander."   You are the only one reponsible for giving your company a bad reputation, not the poor customer.   Hopefully this is a lesson for you that ripping people off might give you some short term gain, but eventually will backfire on you and eventually cause a loss of business.  Also please be aware that if you search other websites (Yelp, Yellow Pages, Murrieta Patch, etc) there are many other unhappy experiences from other former customers-  some much worse than mine. 

They report on getting severely ripped off on price, deception, bait and switch, and shoddy workmanship, among others.  Maybe you think all businesses operate the way yours does=  they don't.   I am certainly glad I did not go through with the installation like the other customers did.  I just hope others will read the reviews and avoid a lot of grief for themselves.   Your best bet at this point-  move out of the Temecula Valley area.  I believe 98% of businesses here are ethical.  You are not one of them.  You don't belong here.

I did finally get a refund thanks to Amex with no help from advanced car stereo.  The equipment was already in the store when I made the installation appointment so they were only "stuck with" equipment that they already had.  I did not cost them anything but they insisted on keeping my money anyway.  They told Amex that my money had been spent on an installation that never occurred because they had already paid their installer.  The fact that they are now changing their story is further evidence of their dishonesty.  I stand behind my original review and opinion that this is a company not to be trusted and would not recommend them to anyone.

There is always two sides to every story. The customer came in and custom ordered several peices of equipment. After we received the equipment the customer called and said that he was not going to be able to do it anymore. Basically having "buyers remorse" It was clearly noted and discussed that this was a "All Sales Final" due to the special order. After he changed his mind he went behind our back and called American Express and filed a dispute. They found it in our favor. The next thing he did was call the Better Business Bureau and open a dispute. They also found it in our favor. This customer has tried everything to slander our name..We finally even though we just realized that nothing was going to make him happy after giving him multiple options and really trying to go out of our way.. We finally just refunded him his money because there was no making him happy..keep in mind that we were stuck with the equipment  

So after AMEX and the BBB found it in our favor he started slandering us all over the web like We took his money and did not giving him him anything which is a blatent lie.

Very unfair especially since he recieved his refund after not holding up his end of the deal.... 

You be the judge.. we service mulptiple customers every day,7 days a week. We Do not "rip off" any one.

We stand by our products, service and reputation....
