Advanced Disposal Service MIsleading Potential Clients Jacksonville Florida

My company was looking for trash service for our retail customers at our shopping center. We contacted Advance Disposal Services to serve our needs. They sent a sales representative out to see us. We were told by the salesman that the contract we signed was on a month to month contract and that both parties could cancel out of the contract with 30 days notice from either party. When we tried to cancel out, we were informed that we had to pay for 6 months. The Clause in the contract was in such small print on the back page, you needed a magnifying glass to read. We eventually had to obtain an attorney to get our company out of the contract. This took two months and a considerable amount of money. We feel this was unfair and unprofessional. Advance Disposal Services sales people do not tell you all the facts. The company is only interested in revenue and do not care how they treat their customers.
