We moved out of our house which had a AES system installed by the builder in 2012. When moving out I instructed the company that we were moving away and no longer needed services. Not to mention we did not have a phone line in the house anymore.

They did not care. They said we could transfer the service to a new owner but we were under a two year contract. I told them that was not going to happen and they could just cancel.

Months went by and we got a bill for over $100 and my wife sent them a small amount of $20 just to pay for now. I called and asked if they could work with us but they insisted on recieving the full payment.  I did not feel right paying them a large amount of money for a Service they did not provide. They did not seem to understand this concept.

A year later ( and they have all my contact info) around november, they finally call me and demand payment for the last 2 years of "Service" they were providing. I told them they were not providing any kind of service and they decided to send me to collections for over $350. I don't see how they deserve money for a service they never provided.

I do not advise using this company as they will Stick you to a contract and not be understanding in any way.

AES Standard Security Policies and Contracts

AUTHOR: Project Manger - AES - ()

POSTED: Thursday, January 09, 2014

Advanced Electronic Solutions, LLC has standard contracts in place for our clients.  They provide us and the client with a firm understanding of what will transpire during the course of the relationship.

In our contract it is clearly stated that in order to cancel the service once the contract is up you must submit the form in writing.  I have researched our files on this client, we have received no such notice.  This procedure is in place to protect our clients as criminals will try to get services inturrupted by claiming to be individuals they are not.  Some of our contracts provide the security equipment up front for free, in this case the contract is the only thing standing in the way of people walking away with over $500 of equipment after a couple months.

Our service will continue to run as any other service provided by ADT, AT&T, Verizon, and many others that require contracts.  It is unfortunate that this client has decided to vent this type of frustration when all he needed to do was submit the paperwork to be disconnected, pay off either the contract or the material.

If the client would like to call us, we would be glad to work something out where he submits the proper paperwork and covers our cost.
