Sometimes it really does not pay to look for bargains. I found a banner on U-hauls site that promised professional movers at up to 65% off. I filled out one form for quotes and received tons of quotes. Advanced Moving had the best offer so we went with them. Huge mistake.

Like everyone else on ripoffreport.com, they arrived loaded our belongings into the truck and then gave us a final price that was double the quote, then they told me they don't accept credit cards after their sales man (Sean Bar) specifically told me that they did except AMEX. Anyhow, over Three weeks later our belongings arrived with almost 1/2 of them missing and the rest of it damaged. One of our tubs even arrived empty. Everything in the box (my computer hard drive, my husbands software...), was gone except for a few phone cords and wires. All of our wedding pictures and video gone, my husbands keyboard gone, and even some of my clothes gone... the list just goes on and on. I have tried to contact them for resolution. They told me they would look for my items and a driver would come by in 2 days. The two days ended last Thursday and I have received no calls as of yet.

The things that are different from everyone else's report is that they have their money and they haven't demanded any more than the final price they told us when they initial picked up our items.

I don't know what else to do here. Some of the reports I have read on the internet say that contacting the BBB is useless and that Advanced Moving doesn't actually have insurance for me to place a claim.

I am also filling out an investigates form for channel 9-WFTV out of Orlando, and am mailing a registered letter to the attorney general, Advanced Moving and their insurance company on Monday. I am wanting some consumer advocate or legal help, but am not sure if we really have a case. Maybe a class action suit filed by all their victims could finally take these guys down?!

"Transworld Moving" truck was used to deliver some of our belongings!!

Actually Ms. Shmuelov, this complaint "IS" also filed against Transworld Moving. Since it was a Transworld Moving truck that delivered what items we did receive. The white truck clearly had the words Transworld Moving in BIG, bold, black letters on the side of it. I have three witnesses that can place the Transworld truck in our driveway.

If Advanced Moving is renting or some how illegally using your "Transworld Moving" trucks. I would suggest you cut your affiliations/ties with them. They are ripping off people left and right and your trucks and probably your people are being implicated. We lost all of our wedding pictures and memories, musical instruments used for my husbands lively hood, computer software, kitchen appliances, clothes,... a total of over $19,000 lost. Since we probably won't be receiving any of this back or compensation for our loss, we should at least have the right to report our dissatisfaction with Advanced Moving and their affiliation (whatever that may be) with Transworld Moving. I do not want this report to be removed from this website.

If Transworld Moving is not affiliated with Advanced Moving than what is your companies relationship with them? I have read other complaints on this site that ALSO associate Transworld Moving with Advanced Moving? Where do you think this so called misconception is coming from?

You gave me my quote...and arranged my move with these criminals....What a tangled web we weave! However, I work for the DOT and I promise I will bring these rip off bastards down! Jackie.. You are right.. We need to start our own bbb and band together. I have been taking pictures of their operation for months. I will be keeping everyone posted as this progresses.

This complaint is clearly filed against Advanced Moving Systems, Not Transworld Moving.

Please take this complaint off of your website.
This customer did not Schedule with Transworld Moving for her move. She scheduled with Advanced Moving Systems.
Why is she complaining against us. We do not even know who she is.

Please take care of this a.s.a.p.
A response would be greatly appreciated.
