Advanced Moving Systems provided a low moving estimate, I went with them in a hurry to beat a deadline.
They arrived at my apartment on December 28,2002. my estimate went from 1690 to 3500. The 2nd quote was after they had put my belongings on the truck. I was told they would take my deposit and i needed the rest upon delivery.
They told me 3 days. After 3 days I was told my belongings were in storage and the drivers made a mistake. they were then telling me I need 5,300. I told them I did not have that kind of money. I was then told I would have to pay for storage! All phone calls with these people were horrible, they ended up in yelling matches usually I was hung up on!
After a month I was told I could get my belongings out of the storage unit. 3 times I tried to rent a truck and then they would back out! Thy would not give me a storage name or an address I was told to go to St Louis Missouri and wait they would call! Finally on January 25th I had my boss from work call and pretend that he was my attorney, after many threats we were given an address, but no storage name or unit.
It was in St Peter Missouri. I was told that someone from Advanced Moving Systems would be there to let me in the unit. No one showed up but the owner of the storage unit already had the lock off the unit. There was somone else's belongings in there with mine seperated by cardboard. out of 75 boxes there was 40 missing. They stole all of my electrical equipment, as well as some of my furiture was gone! What boxes were left were all open-most damaged. the blue taggs they had put on my boxes were changed to green. These people are thieves! Its pretty bad that I had to pay them to steal my belongings!

Does anyone haooen to no the owner or owners names? I hired a company that subcontracted to Advanced Movers and they completely destroyed everything that I had. I also was awarded my claim in court but guess what I can't find anyone!!!!!
