Advanced Technology Advanced Tech Support I was sold a bunch of applications (security, backup) from these gorrillas.

I signed on with Advanced Tech Support in response to their 24/7 online tech services.  I did use them a few times, but had to progress from a tech that answered phones with almost no tech knowledge, to the next one, then a 'supervisor'.  Not very successful because this outfit outsourced all their tech help to countries with people who had no English language skills.  The supervisors seemed to be orchestrating large numbers of techies and often my computer was out of action for 6 or 7 hours with no real results.  This was a $14.95/monthly charge.  Before they let me off the line another sales person insisted that I needed different virus and security and backup programs and sold me those as well.  All charges were made to a credit card and processed by Safecart.
