Advanced Wellness Research Inc. Charges before time trialperiod Nampa Idaho

On 1/15/09 I signed up for a 'free' trial of acai berry tablets for the cost of shipping only of $4.99. The product was shipped on 1/16/09 and I received it on 1/24/09. On 1/30/09 I noticed a pending charge on $78.81 on my debit account.

I immediately called the company to investigate why the charge when I only received the product one week ago and the 'free' tial period is not up. They gave several different stories indicating that I had authorized the charge to which I realized their dishonesty and instantly requested a cancellation.

I was advised that a cancellation would not be possible and received an offer of a discount. I denied the same and was told that the cost of the product was $78.81 and that I did not call to cancel in the required time frame. I then called my bank to inform that the charge is not authorized and also got the 'run around' from them.

I decided that I am going to cancel my account with the bank and just came from opening another account with another bank. My former bank was recently taken over by another, and I really did not need much excuse to sever ties with them after 16 years.

I intend to follow this through to even a lawsuit and will not allow myself to be taken advantage of by my bank or anyone else. After perusing the internet sites I realize that this is a frequent occurrence with this company.
