I wont bother to repeat the details of the many reports, i.e. contacted by person with accent, promised large amount of "grant money", took bank routing numbers to pay the fee for processing the grant.

After it was too late, my girl friend asked me what I thought, too bad she kept shooshing me while I tried to get her to stop. After she hung up she said she figured that since her bank account was down to nothing it wouldnt be a gamble.

I told her she was on the hook for it regardless of her balance, and that she needed to go to the bank first thing Monday 1/31 and ask their advice. She did, she belived them, she closed the account (she thought).

Unfortunatly, there was a dely that kept the account open with a zero balance. Today 2/2 the bank charged the account 49.95. Now it is due and there is an overdraft charge. Maybe Ill write a rip off about the bank, but that is not my point.

Be Sure your account is closed, dont leave the bank until it is wrtitten in blood "Your Account is Closed"

Also today, a small box arrived, it contained a coupon book, claiming to be a thousand dollar value, and a letter thanking her and offering health insurance and other services. So they provided somthing in concideration for the 50 bucks, wow what a deal.
