Advantage America almost ripped me off. Thank-You rip-off report! Winter Park Florida

I received a call from Tina Parker ID# C1289 from Advantage America. I could barely understand her broken English. Congratulations, you are one of 200 us residents that have been selected to receive a free grant of $12,500.00. (I could hear telemarkers in the back ground.)

I will also receive $500 worth of free groceries to use at a store of my choice. By paying my taxes, the government accrues interest on the money that they then give to people like me. To prove to me she works for the government, she gave me my bank's rounting number.

She said only a trust worthy government agency would have access to this confidential number. She then asked me to give her the "other numbers" on my check. I asked, "my account number?", she said no the numbers beside the ones I just gave to you. I said, "My account number?".

She would not confirm saying my account number. She just kept saiying the other numbers to confirm the information was correct. Did she think I was stupid? I told her I did not feel comfortable giving out my account number. I asked for a phone number that I could call her back. She said there was no phone number.

I asked, then how did you call me? She stated that after I give her my "account number" AHH FINALLY...She said account number....She would give me a number I could call her back. I questioned the purpose of that and she transfered me to her manager. Her manager insisted and acted insulted that I didn't trust a government agency.

Accused me of not believing in my government. I told her that I had to do some research on her company before I would consider giving out my account number. I asked for her to call me back. She said she would call me tomarrow.

At the end of the conversation, I was guarenteed $25,0000 of free grant money if I gave her my account number. Thank-You rip off report. I look forward to receiving my phone call tomarrow, because now I know it's a con.
