Dear John Exline (Founder/CEO),

After attending your seminar, making an appointment to speak with you and receiving the ok to put offers in for homes-I was quite excited at the prospect of fulfilling a dream of "creating wealth through real estate". After working with not 1, not 2, but 3 of your loan agents, what followed was more like a nightmare.

I was given a prequalification letter from you for two offers on homes located in the Bay area. I was assured by you and your staff that you could find us a loan product. Leaving that to 'the experts', I moved forward and secured renters and even found an equity share. However as the time moved forward I found that what (dis)Advantage Financial created wasn't the possibility of wealth, but more a smoke screen which ended in the dissolution of a RE contract.

In the second property, located in the North Bay, I went as far as to SIGN OFF on loan contingencies, as I was ASSURED that a loan was secured. What followed felt like a series of lies, compounded by the inability to get a STRAIGHT ANSWER from your dodging loan agents, whom have now either quit or got fired. Meanwhile the close of escrow that was scheduled for July, became a distant memory and no one at Advantage Financial seemed too concerned. Perhaps it was bad timing, unethical manuevering or poorly trained staff. We will never know, but now we are faced with losing a lot of our money. Poor us.

Somehow though you did manage to pull off a refinance, that was only done on our part IN ORDER TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL REAL ESTATE AS YOUR SEMINAR TEACHES. How on earth did you manage to get us a refinance loan but not come through on any others? Well in retrospect, it seems that perhaps that is your whole motis operandi.

You have a good sell initially, but when it comes to follow through your Advantage Financial company is a distinct DIS-Advantage as far as we are concerned.
