Advantage Rent-a-car - ARAC charged me $451.89 for vehicle damages Kahului Hawaii

Advantage charged me for damages to my rental vehicle that occurred before I picked up the car. The vehicle had multiple areas of cosmetic damage, which I indicated on the contract disclosure before I got the keys, but they still are trying collect money from me. This is a common rental agency scheme, rent cars with minor damage to unsuspecting tourists, then send them a letter months later demanding payment for damages. They pocket the money, and never bother to fix the car (this way, they can do it over and over). Every car Ive rented from Advantage has some kind of damage. I believe they have intentionally adopted this tactic as a profit generating activity.
