Advantel Telemarketing Fraudulent and Deceptive telemarketing company West Bridgewater Massachusetts

$2,500 loss to this Fraudulent company. We paid for it; but never received it. I'm talking about their guaranteed leads.

The agreement we had with this company was that Advantel was to provide leads for our Mortgage/Real Estate Company. These leads were to be people who needed to buy a home, or refinance.

We were to be provided with a list of people with appointments for me to go to their home and discuss loans and homeownership.
We paid $2,500 for 100 leads.

The parameters of the leads were:
Renters/Non-Owners
Income $60,000/year or better
Credit score of 620 or better
Located within one hour of Sacramento

Here were some problems:

1.We were emailed appointments with people who had never been contacted by Advantel.

2.The appointments/leads ended up having nothing to do with loans and homes. I Called to confirm one appointment before I went, and it was an elderly man in a convelescent hospital. He said "I won't be needing to buy a home".

3.The majority of the "leads" were to spanish-speaking only people and we were unable to communicate with them. We had a spanish-speaking person call on some of these leads, and they were, again, people who had never been contacted by Advantel; and didn't want anything to do with homeownership.

4.The leads were delivered by email with an excel spreadsheet attached. The time of there call was on the sheet and reflected times such as 1:17 AM, and 5:30 AM.

These people must be stopped!
