I saw this website by googling The Travel Center and read the complaint on this site. Yeah! It was identical to my experience. THe only difference is that I had expected the second payment of $69 per person. BUT NO ONE HAD MENTIONED A THIRD PAYMENT OF $99 Per Person! That's when I finally woke up. My ACH check was cashed by Travel By Centennial. It was endorsed on the back as a Capital One account nbr. 00201170380. The $69 amounts were paid to The Travel Center, in Clarksburg, MD. These scammers seem to have a "divide and confuse" strategy. I have contacted the FTC, my bank and Capital one fraud dept. but no one seems particularly interested. I may go further. I have tried calling adventure2remember and the "customer service" person named Richard asked my if I was taping the conversation and told me it would be my word against the sales rep!! By the way, a Bank of America fraud person seemed to have had knowledge of this type scam, which starts with faxes to a workplace.
