Steve Davis approached me and signed me up for one year's advertising servidce after paying him initial $199 set up fee. They never published so called "Best of Santa Cruz" magazine for Wholefood's and New Leaf's whom they claimed that they reprsented. In late May, upon the date they promised the magazines would come out and be displayed on the shelvf of these businesses and that they would distributed 5000 copies to these locations mentioned above, We sent our employees to check on it everyday because I sensed that it was a fraud. There was never anything publshed. Instead, it had ONE magazine at the Who0lefood's location at Soquel Ave in Santa Cruz with one out-of-date old mazine with a red penciled in mark on the front page "5/22/17". My employees and I soon discovered this was a fraud because on the front cover ad, it has an ad from a local business saying "Fall/ Winter Special" and this was supposed to be an ad for the spring! On top of that, they never even published the magazine as they promised with the amount of distribution at any given time because we are checking on them all the time. These people continue to harras me and bill me for what they said that I owed them on the invoices. Not only I had reported to the police, I am also going forward to the district attorney to make sure these people will get caught and never do this kind of cheating to anybody any more.
