I've been in mlm for about 4 years now and I am making really good money with the company I am with. Last month, I was invited to an Advocare meeting at a local friend's house. Half way through the meeting, I realize that Advocare was just another weight loss mlm. One thing they kept saying is that they have a perfect record with the better business bureau; well before you sign up, the company makes you sign a paper stating that Advocare is not liable to anything. So of course they are going to have a perfect record you are waving your rights so they can't get sued.

That's why they make sure you sign that piece of paper within a certain amount of time and fax it to them or you account will be inactive. Another thing I notice about Advocare was their compensation plan; the compensation plan is set up for an average person to fail. The compensation has a breakage point where as if you barely missed your quota then you have to start all over again and that really sucks.

Another thing about the company is if you missed your quota then you get skipped and somebody else gets your money. Plus you have to constantly buy over priced products to meet your quota that makes you have a bunch of products lying around in your house. I could never get into a company like Advocare due to their lack of a good compensation plan.

To the Four year MLM vet, I would be interested in your MLM and its compensation plan.   It is such an interesting study, personalities and MLMs.     Thanks, hope to here from you.   I am meeting many people actually making money at this Advocare biz, good, honest people.

Who could ever prove any product from any health food store, say a GNC,  be proven to do what it says it does?  Its all a mater of personal choice and the one who takes any given product is the only judge of its results, save only a doctor who might be monitoring it closely?

In closing MLM is an activity, its not a business, its is a proven marketing methodology, use to market a product using interactive, network distribution development.   ie.. people like you and me who get payed for the effort and ultimate sale of products.  Whats all the fuss about.
