This company, which now claims to be AED enterprises, has posted an ad on craigslist for an "entry level management" position, offering 35-40K a year...actually, when pressed, I was told that the minimum I could make was 36,400 a year. They offer 30-90 day paid training, which they say you can "do at your own pace" and "you make an average of $250-$500 a week." They dont tell you much about the company, but they sent me a website entitled
They are multiple spelling and grammatical errors on this site, and it is odd, but they never mention the company name (probably because they have to change it so often).
The people I spoke to were "Rachael" and "Rob" but no last names were given. They did a phone interview and invited me in for a face to face. I drove around and they were located in this tiny 2 room suite in the middle of nowhere in Memphis and they didnt even have a company name on the door "because they had just moved in. [continued below]....
....." After I got to the interview today and finally found the very sketch office (and noticed their website was sketch), they said for some reason they couldnt do the interview today but I would have to come back again. Thats when I looked it up again online and found another posting listing a similar company doing the exact same thing in St. Louis (where the Rob guy who talked to me said he was from). It turns out that they never give you a management job that they promise or pay you for training and instead try to get you to sell their fake perfume on the street. The people at the company claim that you can make enough money to buy mansions and nice cars and all you have to do is be a "manager of 10 to 15 people at your own store." Something is clearly wrong and this company is capitalizing on an economic recession by posting fake managing jobs, and then never paying you or following through. I never went to my second interview, or did the training, but I got up to this point and am SO GLAD I read this website and didn't waste another week of my time. I hope someone shuts them down!
Also, its ironic that on their website, they devote most of it to saying that anyone who badmouths them and calls them a scam "is a scam themselves." Ha
