I hired Recreation Services for a move from El Paso, Texas to Covington, Georgia in September 2016 to take place the first week of Oct, 2016. Frank at Aegis Relocation hired the moving carrier, Call Me Van Line to make this move and provided a delivery date of Oct 4th or 5th for my furniture to be delivered to Covington, Georgia. The furniture was not delivered until October 23rd and it was not delivered to my home but instead on the side of a road at a U-Haul facility that I had to rent and pay for myself. Though I have lost some of my right side peripheral vision and was intimidated to drive a truck that size, I drove the truck in tears to my home after a driver unloaded my furniture into the uhaul. This driver would only unload my furniture after I paid him over $1,000 but he refused to let me see my furniture. that I was forced to hire movers to help me the next day. As if all of the extremely poor customer service was not bad enough, I actually unwrapped damaged furniture. The couch and loveseat pillows were damaged beyond repair. I noticed that several items were damaged.

I contacted Frank the broker and told him what happened and after apologizing, he assured me that he would take care of it. I have several emails and texts where he apologized and even said that he will never use the carrier again and that if I gave him just 1% of trust that he would gain the other 99%. He immediately promised to refund the deposit and that was over a month ago. Instead of doing the right thing, Frank has taken the time to redo his website to remove my negative review and alter the new site not to not allow customers to review at all. I'm still waiting and now he's not even returning my calls even though he keeps promisinf. Frank told me from the beginning that he would be with me to the end yet when it came time when the movers increased the estimate from$1434 to $1965, he promised that I wouldn't have to pay more but the only way to not pay more was to not have my belongings delivered directly to my home and on the side of the road.

I am disabled and this was/is too much! Frank said the estimate increase would need to be supported with weight tickets but of course they never provided any weight tickets and the movers demanded the higher estimate of $1965 and when I refused they deliver my furniture on the side of the road. Frank stood by and watched all of this happen and promised me a refund for the deposit that I paid for him, stating that he is sorry and feel that it's fair to refund at least that, however now he's not even responding. I was so sure that he would at least keep that one promise.
