A little over 2wks ago my mom inquired about an ad in the paper by Aerotek she called the number to get information for both my dad and I for work. A few hours later we got a phone call from a rep. and with no questions or requests for paper work or identification of any kind sent us to work straight the next day. I worked extremely hard at the job assigned to me which was incredibly crappy and something I wouldn't normally do because of my back problems but given our current financial situation I was desperate and willing to do just about anything. I took literally no breaks almost except for 2 or 3 including my lunch hour while the others were on constant breaks - this has nothing to do with much but it's just showing how hard I was working. I literally worked nearly 8hrs straight with no complaints even though I was in much discomfort. About 1hr before the work day was over I recieved a call and was informed I could not return because I had no ID ... which upset me based on him hiring me not even asking Q's BUT I was alright with it and understood somewhat. Well on Sunday evening my mom and I faxed out my timesheet to AT and it was processed along w/ my dad's check that week - he recieved his check that Saturday but I did not. On Monday after the mail came I gave them a call and asked what was up, the lady said she had the check there and would send it out on Wendsday. Yesterday (Monday) after the mail came and having not recieved my check AGAIN I was furious so I proceeded to call AT again and ask what the heck was going on. The same lady put me on hold told me I need to contact the payroll manager but he was in a meeting that she'd fwd me to him but to leave a message and I did that. My dad had called a few minutes later because once I hung up he asked why I was so upset and so he called the lady back and asked what was up, she said the same thing only that he was on lunch break. My dad left a message as well as calling the rep. who put us to work all day we waited for a response, heard nothing that day or the day following. According to several other people online I'm not the only one who's had issues w/ AT or them not paying their people.
