In 2001 when this policy was introduced through 'Bank One' before it was bought out by 'Chase' Bank within the first month I've called and asked the representative to stop this Insurance Coverage and cease deduction from my account and representative promised to stop this action, after reviewing my statement in 2003 I notice they were still taking out money out of my account. The same thing happened again I called the representative, they said that they would close the account and give a refund back to the account, The entire matter past and I forgot about it, now speed up to 2009 I got an invoice in the mail from Affinion' sending a statement to me, due to my bank account is closed they were unable to withdraw quarterly payment. If my bank account was not closed I would not realized that they were still taking money out, still in 2009 and I've said it from 2001 'CLOSE MY ACCOUNT'.
Now I've spoken to a Supervisor and told her closed my account for me again this would be the third time I've requested for my account to be closed and money refunded.The supervisor forward to me a refund form to fill it out and returned it to her/Company, I did it and mailed it as a registered mail, I've gotten a reply from the company that they could not refund me any money because I did not request it I've requested this Three (3) times in 2001, 2003 and now in 2009. Why is this company still doing business to the public these practices need to be stopped.
The other thing I find very disturbing is that when you call in to the call center the information they put in the system about the call is somewhat different than what is requested by the caller. What this company is doing is not fair to the consumers and no company should force any product(s) using marketing deceptive practice to entice consumers in and to continue take money out of their accounts. Consumers/Public start taking a closer look at your monthly bank statements you might find a company withdrawing money out of your account in which you might not be aware of. Take A Closer Look.
