It appears your also the victim of Anfi, if you read some of the post here, all of them have to do with verizon communication(phone).

Why work yourself up calling these people, You will get nothing done collectly over the phone.

Dispute the debt. In writting (RRR) keep an eye on your credit report. and take legal action as needed.

Sorry to say, this will not clear up overnight, and this shouldn't be legal and allowed to happen.

Those of you dealing with Anfi, over this and finally getting someone on the phone and they tell you its not you don't worry, WRONG! Its best to follow up with a letter and get something in writting, your information will be sold and you will have to do this all over again.

If the letter you finally get, states something to the effect, that no more collection activity will be taken, were closeing your file, that only means they couldn't validate this debt and you can bet it will be sold.

In order for you to sue, you need documentation, Phone conversation, never happen, unless there taped (LEGALLY).

What alot of people don't get is that in order to punish a debt collector for violation of the FDCRA, you must prove that the violation were interntional. 15 use 1692(k)(C).

There are steps you must take to get to that point and have DOCUMENTATION. Most collection agency make it easy for you, to sue. and 9 times out of 10, we won't because were just glad, this is over with.

Its best to read up on FDCRA and any rules and law in your state on your own and see for youself what your dealing with and how to go about it.

So far almost everyone that posted here, hasn't reposted what reply they got from the collection agency. and everyone would want to know how these bottom feeders are validating these debt, or what there sending when the debt isn't even your's. Don't post personal info, just generally what form they uses, or there own printouts, ect

Everyone needs to file complaints with the Ill. attorney general over this Anfi, this month alone 30+ people have posted here.
